ABOUT NATHANIEL GREY

I come from a creative family from way back as far as Francis Greenway (the infamous convict architect).

I built skate ramps in my teens, and then studied fashion design in the UK. I had my own clothing label in the nineties.

When I came to Australia in 2000, a friend asked me to build a bookshelf, then a desk, then a daybed. I liked working with wood so much that I spread the word and I’ve been building furniture full time ever since.

Surfing is very much part of my lifestyle too, so the natural progression was to start building my own timber surfboards. I also love when I can combine my board building techniques with my furniture designs.
