About Me

I design and build custom-made furniture from new and recycled timber and plywood (no MDF or Particle Board). I’m inspired by industrial style furniture, the simplicity of modern Japanese and Danish furniture designs and architecture, especially hand-made simple dwellings that use natural materials. I’ve always been interested in making more sustainable surfboards that last years instead of a season. My surfboards are inspired by shapes and ideas from the past. I use a mix of Western Red Cedar, Balsa and Paulownia. I’m always experimenting to make lighter, stronger faster, fruitier shaped boards.
